Account Administration

The Account Administration on the Survox Dialer Console is very simple to use. Within Account Administration you can update user information, add new users, or deactivate a user. You can quickly change permissions or update personal information.  You can also add and edit companies.

User Administration

Add/Edit Users

The Add/Edit Users gives you the opportunity to add new users or edit existing ones. When the option is selected you will see a search box and a few options along with a list of currently active users on the system. To narrow down the list you would enter a username, first name or last name into the search box.

  • Add New User
    • This link will allow you to add a new user to the system.
  • Filter
    • To filter by a particular user type, click the user type.
    • For example if you only wanted to view supervisor users then click on supervisors.
  • Show Inactive/Active Users
    • This link either displays the list of active or inactive users.

Add New User

When adding a new user you will need to provide at least a first name, last name, location, and permission. The username, password and conference code is automatically generated.

Edit Existing User

Edit a User – To edit a current user click on the users name in the list. This will display a screen with the users information; you cannot change the username or conference code.

To change the users password just provide a new password and click save.

If a user is no longer needed you can edit the user and un-check the Active box. This will deactivate the user and no longer allow login. (Be careful not to deactivate the primary Admin account.)

Company Administration

Add/Edit Companies

The Add/Edit Companies allows you to add multiple companies and set the timezone for each location so time displays correctly for that company within the interface.  To narrow down the list, enter a company name into the search box.

  • Add New Company
    • This link will allow you to add a new company to the system.
  • Filter
    • To filter by a particular company, enter the company name.
  • Show Inactive Companies
    • This link either displays the list of active or inactive companies.

Edit Existing Company

Edit a Company – To edit a current company click on the company name in the list. This will display a screen with the company information; you cannot change the timezone.

If a company is no longer needed you can edit the company and uncheck the Active box. This will deactivate the company.
