Edit Security Type

The Edit Security Type feature allows the administrator to make modifications to existing security types. You can also use this feature to delete an existing security type.

Making changes to a security type will affect ALL users of that type. This change will take affect when the user logs back in again.

  1. Click on the Admin Tab
  2. Click Edit Security Type
  3. Select the Security Type to Edit from the drop down menu
  4. The security type name will appear in the box below, along with its description
  5. From the Security Profile Settings, click on the functions you want to alter and either select or deselect the tasks that are listed
  6. Once finished, click the “Update Security Type” Button
  7. To Delete the Security Type, click the “Delete” Button
