Get Sample Info (PHONE,GET_PHONE_INFORMATION)

The PHONE,GET_PHONE_INFORMATION (PHONE,G) statement enables you to retrieve information from your phone file and store it in your data file.

1. Click the Add Questions tab
2. Select Get Sample Info from the Type drop down menu
3. This question type will always be written before the first question (at the beginning of the spec file)
   1. It will not appear in-line in the spec
4. Enter a Label up to 30 alpha-numeric characters beginning with a letter
   1. Labels are required and must be unique
5. Enter the starting location from the phone file where you want the information to be taken from
6. Enter the length of the variable
7. Click the “Enter Question Details” button to save your question
