Other specify response codes can be added to single or multiple response FLD questions in the Question Editor. When adding Other Specify response codes, they will automatically be added to the bottom of the list regardless of whether you are rotating the list or not. To add an Other Specify response, click the check box next to the Add ‘Other (specify)’ Response. By default, code ’96’ Other will be created. If you want to define your own text, type your text in the text box labeled (Other Text).

1. Access the Question Editor by clicking the  tab from the menu bar at the top of the page.
2. Navigate to the question where you want to add the Other Specify to your response list and click on it.
3. Click the Add Other (specify) Response check box to automatically add an Other Specify code to the bottom of your response list.
4. To define your own text, type your text in the text box labeled (Other Text).
5. You must click the  button to save your changes.
6. To start a new question, click the  button.

In this example, we checked the Add Other (specify) Response to add the Other Specify Code and we defined the text to say: Please Specify Other.

NOTE: The Other Specify response is not added until you click the  button.

The Other Specify code of ’96’ with the text ‘Please Specify Other’ was added to the bottom of the list regardless of how many codes were added.
