You can delete one or more responses in a response list while in Design View mode. Navigate to the question where you want to “delete” a response and click on the question. This will open the Question Editor where you can “delete” your response(s).

To delete one response, click the  button next to the response you want to remove from the list. To delete all responses, click on the  responses link at the top of the response code list.

NOTE: There is no undo feature.

1. Access the Question Editor by clicking the  tab from the menu bar at the top of the page.
2. Navigate to the question where you want to Delete a response.
3. Click on the specific response you want to Delete.
4. To Delete one response, click the  button next to the response you want to remove from the list.
5. To Delete all responses, click on the  responses link on the top of the response code list.
6. Remember there is no undo feature.

In this example, we are deleting response code 02 (Living together, not married) from the response list.

The code for “Living together, not married” has been removed from the list and the rest of the list has shifted upwards.
