Enhancements such as bolding or italicizing can be added to your response list in the Question Editor. You can add these enhancements while creating the question, or later on after the question has already been created. Add enhancements to response codes by clicking the bold and/or italic checkbox next to the response code.

1. Access the Question Editor by clicking the  tab from the menu bar at the top of the page.
2. Navigate to the question where you want to add enhancements and click on it.
3. If adding a new response code:
   • Click the checkbox for bold to bold your response code.
   • Click the checkbox for italic to italicize your response code.
   • Click the  button.
   • Check marks will appear next to each response code indicating whether it is bolded or italicized and the enhancement will be added to the response.

4. If modifying an existing response code:
   • Click the checkbox for bold to bold your response code.
   • Click the checkbox for italic to italicize your response code.
   • Click the  button.
   • Check marks will appear next to each response code indicating whether it is bolded or italicized and the enhancement will be added to the response.
   • To cancel your editing at any time, click the  button. Changes will not be saved.
   • See Example 2 below.
5. You must click the  button to save your changes.
6. To start a new question, click the  button.

In this example, we are adding “Poor” as the fourth response code and we are bolding and italicizing it at the same time we are adding the code. After adding each enhancement, we are clicking the  button to add the new response to the response list.

In this example, we are modifying the existing response code of “Poor” and bolding and italicizing it. After adding each enhancement, we are clicking the  button to add the enhancements to the response code.

NOTE: The enhancement is NOT saved until you click the  button.
