Dialer Control

Allows a user to start and stop communications between the study server and a dialer.  You can also initialize and start a dialer if it’s been stopped.

In Dialer Control there are four functions:

  • Initialize Dialer – Allows a user to establish connection between the study server and a dialer.
  • Handshake Dialer – Allows a user to ensure that the communications are functioning properly between the study server and a dialer.
  • Close Dialer – Allows a user to close the connection between the study server and a dialer.
  • Wipeout Dialer – Allows a user to sever the connection between the study server and a dialer immediately.
  1. Click on the Manage tab
  2. Click Shop and Server
  3. Click Dialer Control
  4. Select an environment from the drop down menu
  5. Select the dialer to work with from the Select Dialer drop down menu
  6. Select the dialer command from the Dialer Command drop down menu
  7. Click the “Run” button to submit the command
