Mode (Predictive, Preview, Manual) a Phone Number was dialed in
FOR NOW THIS SHOULD REMAIN AN INTERNAL DOCUMENT.
There is some information in the call history itself that can let you know in what mode a call was made.
If the call was made by in predictive mode and came back as a non-connect, then the interviewer ID will be SRVR or SV## where ## is the number of the dialer that made the call. The dialer number is assigned in the parmfile.
If the call came back as a connect or was done in either preview/power or manual mode, then the interviewer ID will be that of the interviewer who was on the call and will be of no help to determine the mode of how the call was made.
The only way to truly know how a number was dialed is to track it in the server log file.
You can grep for the phone number. For numbers dialed by the MSG dialer, it looks like this:

The important part of what it shows is the number_dial line.
TODIALER 20:46:26 (0002 NUMBER_DIAL K631C, 7243283460, 17736, 1079, F, 0, 2, 0, 0, 0!)
The 2nd value after the phone number is what you want to look at (1079 in this case).
If that value is NON-ZERO then the number was dialed in preview mode for that specific station. If the value is 0, like in this example then it was dialed in predictive mode.
TODIALER 16:18:39 (0002 NUMBER_DIAL K691, 7735824406, 23554, 0, F, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0!)
If there is NO TODIALER line at all, but there are other references to the number that look like this:
HANDLEFONE20:46:26 (7243283460) recnum=17736 17736 status=820 ext=1079

Then it was dialed manually.
The above applies to all dialers except the SER dialer. Checking how it was dialed by the SER dialer is done by doing the following:
If the number was dialed predictively there will be a PR command and likely also an RT command.

If the number was dialed in preview mode there will be an RD command.
