How to find and fixup records in a corrupted fone file
Attached are specs called FONECHECKXX.SPX where XX is the version. This reads a FON file or a converted ASCII fone file and reports on the records that have an illegal format (corrupted fone file) and/or fixes records that are in the error stack. Be sure to use the proper spec for the version that you are now running.
This will create a file of good records and a file of bad records (if any are found).
Choose the version that you need, either Version 8.6 or 8.8.
