Using a Select Statement in a Mentor Spec

When you are using a select statement in a Mentor spec and it’s not working, check for the following obvious reasons first:

  1. Is the data location that you are using correct?
  2. Is what you are using a select statement on part of the data file? Is that actual data in the data file?
  3. Is your syntax correct?
  4. If you are receiving an error, what is the error number? Is that part of the existing Solutions base?
